KATRINA COVINGTON, LCPC, LCMHC

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

As a Marine Corps spouse of 23 years, I was afforded the amazing opportunity to gain professional knowledge and skills in both military and civilian populations in the continental U.S. and abroad. I’ve had the honor of working in a variety of mental and behavioral health settings to include private therapy practices, psychiatric programs, substance abuse clinics, and educational programs. These experiences equipped me with the knowledge and tools necessary to provide clients with a unique therapeutic experience supported by evidenced-based interventions.

What makes my approach different from others? It’s the attention and care taken to ensure a genuinely client-centered therapeutic experience. Through my experiences, I learned that we all want to be heard and understood. As such, I endeavor to provide each client with a safe, encouraging, and nonjudgmental space for self-exploration. I work diligently to foster a healthy collaborative therapeutic relationship with clients to help clients achieve therapeutic goals and live a more satisfying and fulfilling life.

I believe the counseling relationship is both a powerful catalyst for change and delicate. With this in mind, I truly value the time spent getting to know and supporting clients.
